Proper selection of quick disconnects (QDs) or fittings for liquid cooling of electronics applications requires attention to fitting material, configuration and valve design. QD flow sizing has an impact on flow rates and pressure. In order to achieve optimal cooling efficiency, coupling devices throughout the cooling loop must be appropriately specified.
