Body copy is Trade Gothic Light in either CPC Light Gray or Dark Gray, depending on the wireframe background. The rest of the copy should follow the standards mentioned in the typography section. Type should be left-justified and end near the furthest edge of the product.
URL and CTA should be set in Trade Gothic Condensed with the URL in CPC Light Blue. The URL should fall under the logo in the bottom right corner of design. If there is a specific CTA to a vanity URL or other external website, the URL should be placed in the body copy.
All photography is against a white background with an engineer handling a product. A CAD drawing of the product being used should be in the background at no more than 10% opacity and the headline and body copy should follow the same rules as all other type. Use the CPC 4 color logo on the opposite corner of the photo subject.
Photography in publications should be used without a border. If a border is necessary to denote the edge of a photo, use a .35pt grey line. Images without a border gives a clean look to the layout and complements the photography. Avoid using multiple product photos in one combined layout. If multiple products need to be shown together, a circle element can be used to hold the image. Also avoid using color overlays on photography to keep the integrity of our photography style intact.
