CPC Launches DripFree™ Connectors for Cleaner, More Efficient Printing Processes
Arden Hills, Minn. – September 17, 2026 – CPC (Colder Products Company), part of PSG, a Dover company, and a leading manufacturer of connection technologies used in liquid cooling of electronics, has introduced the DripFree™ Series, a line of non-spill connectors designed to support fast, clean, and efficient servicing of ink delivery systems within commercial inkjet printers.
“The ink spills, waste, and contamination that the printing industry has tolerated during equipment start up and maintenance can be a thing of the past with the DripFree Series,” said Mat Stahl, Senior Product Manager, CPC. “DripFree Series connectors enable both quick material fills and equipment serviceability, but what really sets them apart is a new lubrication-free design.”
Quick disconnects typically rely on lubricated O-rings. The DripFree Series’ lubrication-free valve avoids the risk of contaminants from lubricants that can enter the flow path and affect print quality. The new technology enables thousands of non-spill disconnect cycles without the need for lubrication.
The DripFree Series also features non-spill valves that help prevent messy ink spills after disconnection. The same valve technology minimizes air inclusion during connection, reducing or eliminating foaming within the ink line. Together, these capabilities support print quality, reduce ink waste, and help keep printing environments clean.
The DripFree product line is manufactured in an ISO Class 8 cleanroom, minimizing particulate generated during assembly. The connectors are chemically compatible with a wide range of inks and solvents, and ergonomic thumb latches make connections and disconnections fast and easy.
