Sugon DataEnergy is an industry leader in high-performance computing (HPC). As a key player in the HPC market, Sugon DataEnergy was well aware of the high energy consumption and high heat emissions associated with air-cooled server rooms. They created a research and development partnership to address the issue. The result of their collaboration was the TC4600E-LP, an innovative liquid-cooled blade server.
They selected CPC as one of their key partners citing CPC’s “robust technical strengths and [level] of experience [with] quick disconnect couplers” as a main driver. CPC supplied Sugon DataEnergy with its LQ6 quick disconnects couplers specifically designed for liquid cooling applications. CPC also responded to their request for blind mate design with the RP-LQ2 — a custom designed blind mate, engineered specifically for the TC4600E-LP.
The two companies had a highly successful partnership that continues today. Cui Xintao, director of research and development of liquid cooling systems at Sugon DataEnergy, said of the collaboration,”Sugon DataEnergy is eager to cooperate with a technically mature manufacturer like CPC and has selected CPC as the primary supplier of liquid cooling module couplings to Sugon DataEnergy.”
